  • What’s the difference between Indian and Cambodian hair extensions?
    Indian hair comes 100% raw and natural from a donor making it a better quality with less maintenance. Cambodian hair is virgin (processed) hair and is more coarse; mimicking African American hair texture which requires more maintenance than raw Indian Hair. Cambodian hair also does not last as long as Raw Indian Hair. To learn, checkout our “Know The Difference” page.
  • What should I use to style my hair?
    We recommend using Amor Fati Hot Tools primarily to ensure that you are using a quality flat iron at 350 degrees Fahrenheit which guarantees a seamless press or curl that will leave your hair looking flawless.
  • Can I buy Filipino hair a la carte?
    Our Filipino hair extensions are available in bundle deals as well as single bundles.
  • How Many Bundles Do I Need?
    We recommend 3 or more bundles when purchasing lengths 18” – 24” for all hair textures. We recommend 4 or more bundles when purchasing lengths 26”- 30” for all hair textures. For Filipino hair bundles we recommend 4 or more bundles for a full installation. AF Pro Tip: We do not recommend “stair step lengths” (i.e., ordering (1) 24”, (1) 26” and (1) 28”). We recommend doubling up on the longest length or installing one length for all bundles and allowing your stylist to layer your hair based on your preference during styling.
  • Can I color my hair extensions?
    Yes! Both our raw Indian & virgin Cambodian hair types color to perfection.
  • What should I use to shampoo my hair extensions?
    We suggest using clarifying shampoo (i.e., TRESemmé) and silicon mix conditioner. We do not recommend using hydrating shampoos (I.e., cream of nature, shea moisture etc.) on extensions as they will cause your hair to be oily. Ensure that the extensions are thoroughly rinsed until you no longer see suds coming from the hair after shampooing and conditioning.
  • Am I able to pick up hair extensions from the salon?
    Yes! Give us a call at the salon, 443-759-8049 to ensure we have the availability of your desired length and texture before picking up.
  • Can I order online and pick -up in store?
    No, ALL online orders MUST be shipped! If you prefer to pick up in store, you can shop with us during our store business hours. Store hours are located on our homepage.
  • What's your online shipping and return policy?
    Once your order has been completed, there are absolutely NO REFUNDS. When placing an online order, both your billing and shipping addresses must match for order processing. The processing time for all orders is 3 business days before your order ships. All orders are shipped through FedEx and a tracking number is sent to the email address provided. Once your package is released to the courier, Amor Fati is no longer responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package has been lost or stolen, please contact FedEx and provide them with your information to file a lost shipment report. If you have received an inaccurate order such as the wrong length, quantity or texture, please contact the salon for further assistance.
